Cookies and Tracking — Current Draft
What is known about tracking in the static site package and what must be checked on the live host.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small pieces of information a browser may store for a website. Similar technologies include local storage, embedded scripts and server-side identifiers. Uses can include site operation, security, measurement, preferences and advertising.
Current static draft
The static HTML review does not by itself establish every technology that a production host, CDN, analytics tool or affiliate service might set. This page does not claim a complete cookie inventory or that no cookies are used.
Before publication, the live deployment must be tested for cookies, local storage, third-party resources and consent requirements.
Affiliate destinations and controls
Following a sponsored affiliate link takes you to a separate service with its own tracking and privacy practices. Review that service’s policies independently.
Visitors can use browser settings to inspect or block cookies, though blocking certain technologies may affect features on third-party sites.
Outstanding disclosure
Cookie names, providers, purposes, lifetimes, optional-consent controls and a publisher contact channel remain unverified. These must be documented accurately if present. See the privacy notice.
